Reel Women™
Day one consists of a workshop held by Diana and Lori-Ann. By the way, Diana holds the women’s records for tarpon, bonefish and permit. There are some other species in there as well; it’s hard to keep track. We do know she is really talented when it comes to chasing fish in the salt. Lori-Ann was plagued by “tarpon disease” for over ten years, so she is an expert on what can go wrong! Then one day she caught one on her first cast, and then some more! Our workshop will be “tarpon intensive” and learner paced.
Camp will be held at Diana’s family home… right on the water, bayside. The beautiful home has a pool and a lot of fun space to gather or stretch out. This is a somewhat historic house, because they bought the house from Mr. Tarpon himself, Billy Pate.
Arrive April 26, 2008. Islamorada is in the Florida Keys, one and a half hours south from Miami. Rental cars and shuttles are available to get you to Islamorada.
Day One: Full day workshop with Diana and Lori-Ann Murphy Days Two–Five: Rotate and fish with guides and group. Di and L-A will be the photo and party boat.
Depart: May 2, 2008 or stay longer and we can help you with guides and accommodations. Or you can go to the Bahamas with L-A on May 5!
Includes: 6 nights lodging, all meals and transportation once in Islamorada, 1 day workshop and 4 guided fishing days. Alcohol and gratuities not included. Limited to 8 women.
