Clothing
We suggest that you bring vests, waders, boots and shorts with you on your trip- Because weather conditions may vary from hot and dry to cold and wet it is essential to carry a good set of waterproof raingear. We also recommend a hat with a sun visor, polaroid sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent. We carry extra clothing and many of these items in the boat, but you will be more comfortable with your own equipment.
The Rocky Mountains are noted for weather changes throughout the day. You will be most comfortable if you layer your clothing. The inner layer closest to the skin should be a moisture wicking layer, the next layer to be an insulation layer, and the outer layer to be a waterproof / windproof layer. Packing extra shirts and socks is a good idea.
Note: We have waders for guests who need to use them at no extra charge. Please arrange this before the trip so we can be prepared.
