Reel Women™
We start the weekend with a reception on Friday afternoon at the Norse House at Stratton, Vermont. From there it is a short drive to our weekend get-a-way at the North Shire Lodge in Manchester.
Instruction and fishing is from 8 to 4 on Saturday, and 8 to 3 on Sunday.
Learn in two days what could take years to discover on your own! Our goal is to introduce you to what you will encounter in the world of fly fishing. We stress confidence in the outdoors and using your power of observation. You will learn from accomplished casting instructors the basics of a good cast as well as advanced casting techniques. We teach knots, equipment, entomology, how to read water and think like a fish! Our objective is to make you an independent angler. Learn the basics or get rid of bad habits. This school will work for beginners and experienced anglers.
Our Vermont School includes 2 nights lodging at the North Shire Lodge, two day instruction and fishing, and reception on Friday at the Norse House, rod fees, written material, lunch and equipment.
Price: $850 per person, double occupancy (private rooms are available for an additional charge). If you would like to extend your stay, we can make the arrangements for you.
